Road House 1989 movie Series
Road House is an American action movie from 1989, directed by Rowdy Herrington. Patrick Swayze plays a cooler at a roadside bar that has just been fixed up who defends a small Missouri town from a shady businessman. Sam Elliott also stars as a bouncer who is Swayze's character's teacher, friend, and enemy. Also in the group are Kelly Lynch as Swayze's love interest and Ben Gazzara as the main bad guy. In 2006, Road House 2, a straight follow-up, came out.
James Dalton is a skilled "cooler" with a mysterious past. Frank Tillman wants him to quit his job as a "cooler" in New York City and become the security guard at his club, the Double Deuce, in Jasper, Missouri. Tillman wants to improve the club's image by putting a lot of money into it, and he needs a great cooler to keep things cool. After being hired to run the whole bar, Dalton fires several workers for bad behaviour, theft, and drug selling.

Danton meets Brad Wesley, a local business tycoon who pretty much runs the town; his nephew was one of the workers Dalton fired. His goons make threats against Tillman, and in the fight that follows, Dalton gets a knife wound. He meets Dr. Elizabeth 'Doc' Clay at the hospital and becomes friends with her. Eventually, they fall in love. Dalton also meets up with Wade Garrett, his guide and an older cooler who comes to town after getting a scary call from Dalton.
Wesley calls Dalton to his house and tells him about a time in Dalton's past when he killed a guy in self-defense by ripping out his throat. Wesley tries to get Dalton to work for him after he gets the Double Deuce, but Dalton says no. Wesley steps up his attacks on the club and starts to hurt other businesses that don't do what he says. Jimmy Reno, one of Wesley's goons, sets fire to Emmett's house. After the fire, Dalton fights Jimmy and rips out his throat, shocking Elizabeth.
After Wesley kills Garrett, Dalton loses it and storms Wesley's house, killing most of his goons and leaving Wesley unable to do anything. Ishe pulls a gun on him as he tries to leave. Before Wesley can shoot, though, he is killed by people in the town who say they have no idea what happened when the cops arrive. In the end, the town goes to the Double Deuce to enjoy being free.
